Important! Any student who “shares” their front of the lunch line card with another student will have the card punched and will no longer be able to use it for lunch. Discounts from merchants will still be honored but the front of the lunch line pass is void.
Table topping is NEVER allowed on campus. Parents will be contacted and a referral for Saturday school will be given to any student that is seen table topping. Mrs. McNally
Beginning today ASB will be selling holiday grams for the holidays during lunch. You have a choice of a small snowman imprinted football or a stuffed winter penguin for only $2.00. They will be delivered Friday, Dec. 20th.
ASB is also selling Spirit bracelets at lunch near the Holiday grams starting today. Quantities are limited and they are only $1.00 dollar! Check them out and get the El Roble spirit J
The Scripps National Spelling Bee is coming! All 7th and 8th graders are eligible to participate. If you would like to participate, please see Mrs. Hensley in room 301 to sign up for the written pre-test. The pre-test will be held right after school tomorrow, Tuesday.

If you love comics and are fan of cartoons ARToon is an awesome eight-week after school program sponsored by the Claremont Museum of Art. ARToon will have guest comic artists and lessons on how to develop your own characters and story line. The program is FREE and includes supplies! There are only 45 spots, and applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis so be sure to pick up an ARToon application at the student window ASAP. Please return your completed applications to the student window or Mrs. Kubiak in room 803. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Kubiak.
The CJSF Annual Gift Drive for the House of Ruth starts this Wed. and will end next Thurs. Dec. 19th. Please make the holidays brighter for children in need and bring a new unwrapped toy, book, or gift for children or adults to the student window BEFORE school starting next Wed. Your generosity will make such a difference to those who will appreciate your kind hearts. ♥♥♥♥♥ J

The deadline is next Tuesday, Dec. 17th before school.to submit your original artwork and poetry for publication in this year’s yearbook . Poetry is to be 15 lines or less. Artwork is to be on unlined paper in black ink. Please submit your work to Ms. McGourty-Riggs in room 405.
Wondering what you’re going to do over winter break? Why not go to the California Science Center with the TAC?! Mon., Dec. 30 the TAC staff will take the first 15 students who turn in a permission slip by Dec. 19, to see an IMAX movie, the Endeavour Exhibit and other attractions at the California Science Center in LA.
