Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten help children become thriving, lifelong learners and prepare them for 1st grade and success for the rest of their lives. We invite you to learn more so that you can make the best choice for your child and your family.
Eligibility:
Transitional Kindergarten (TK):
Children who turn four years old by September 1 by the year 2025-2026 are eligible to attend Transitional Kindergarten during the 2025-2026 school year. This program provides time for younger students to engage in early academic learning experiences designed to promote success in Kindergarten and beyond.

Kindergarten:
Children born on or before September 1, 2020, will be eligible to attend Kindergarten during the 2025-2026 school year.
How to Register:
Families can register their eligible students at Claremont Unified School District, Student Services, 170 W. San Jose Ave, 2nd Floor or online.
Transitional Kindergarten is a part of the public school system and is free for families
